The easiest way to get some interest is to give users Personal Package Archives (PPA, Ubuntu packages).
Zotonic, the Erlang CMS can be a good example:https://launchpad.net/~arjan-scherpenisse/+archive/ubuntu/zotonic
Alternatively Mura CMS gives a package for Windows which contains necessary software (Mura Express = Mura CMS + Railo + MySQL):http://www.getmura.com/downloads/download-mura-cms/(a great way to play with Mura CMS as it works like a demo)
One more option to evaluate software is the Virtual Machine (VM).
Squiz Matrix as VMware virtual machine:http://manuals.matrix.squizsuite.net/evaluate-squiz-matrix
VMware Player is free to use and runs on Windows 32/64-bit & Linux 32/64-bit.
I'll provide a docker package in the future.
